Got this installed tonight. Really easy once I got a way to format thumb drive as FAT32.
did full screen. Took less than 5 minutes but came right up.

yep. That’s the My Radar app. Doesn’t do a lot, but I like to see storms if I’m driving near them to keep an eye on them.

Finally got around to (getting up the courage) to do this.

Had a little trouble with the hidden files deletion (Blue Harvest didn't initially see the SD card) and got an install error twice, before Blue Harvest recognized the SD card and deleted the "." hidden files. Once that was done, it took just over 5 minutes. I went with the full screen, and will try it for a few days, but I have a feeling I'll go to the windowed screen version. My back button below the screen doesn't exit out of CarPlay back to the Porsche screen, so I have to click on the Porsche App icon to get back to it. Initially, I don't like that, but we'll see after a week or so.

I have a 2020 and I hit the physical NAV button below the screen to take me back to PCM. You could also try hitting the voice control button at the end of the stalk and say, "show home screen" and that might work.

 

Any update on the Android Auto mod?

 

Work on it has been a bit delayed due to holiday season. Still working on it though! It’ll get its own thread when complete.

Just did the full screen mod on our 2021 GTS. Surprised how impressive it looks! Very pleased with the overall appearance and functionality. As @BMinSFL reported, the switch to the backup/surround camera and back to CarPlay is pretty smooth, and the larger Maps display really makes a difference. Can't give enough thanks to @CarmineS for the work to make this so straightforward!

 

I have an early 2019 Macan with PCM 5.0 and the necessary hardware, but in very early 2019 Macan's wireless CarPlay is not activated (just wired). I've seen on another forum that 2 parameters in the PCM need to be updated. Is this something that this Mod can do??
