I shared information with you that I thought would be helpful. This is not the handholding you apparently wish.
Not looking for hand holding at all.
Maybe you haven't noticed but I am moderator here on Rennlist and part my "job" is to aid folks by clarifying/validating repair referrals. I am still looking/waiting for the "information" that you claimed to have shared. All I am reading is mis-information.
Please post legitimate recommendations to indy shops that you have first-hand knowledge of doing genuine Porsche software upgrades.
Those referrals would be valuable to those here interested in the issue discussed in this thread.

I follow Macans on three lists, this being one. The other two are the Facebook Macan site and the third being the Macanforum. I read from all sites that there are independent people that help with needs dealing with Porsche software. I suggested to this person to check them out. I was asked if I ever used these myself. Just suggesting that the person with the need could read from these other sites was certainly not a recommendation from me to purchase their products. I suggested that the sellers should be on top of their game to be successful. I assumed that meant legal. Everybody needs to be comfortable with who they are buying from. I posted no recommendations for shops or people as I had none.

I, and everyone else, is still waiting for this "information" you claim to have posted. An obscure suggestion that the OP might be able get his PCM software "up-graded" at indy shop is not what most would consider "information".
And I will say it again. No independent shop in the USA, none of them, not a single one, has legal access to the latest upgraded PCM software from Porsche AG. Stop suggesting they do. I have first hand knowledge of this because both my Macan's PCM software was up-graded at my local Porsche dealer very recently because of a recall. No indy could do that up-grade, none of them.
Stuck in a-hole mode? You haven't seen anything yet. Why do you think I was made a mod?
When you stop promoting mis-information, I will stop.
Well you should take it down a notch as a mod!
Go back and read. jobunaga was poking fun at the other guy. You responded to the wrong person and now are off the rails.
