You definitely don't. You actually lose the coding with manual option in normal V mode. System is no different for sure. Maybe your setting E/V for normal diagnostics and not the 38.250 which has to be done differently.

This is really interesting. The general PASM setting is interesting. Definitely worth trying sport vs standard. I'll have to check what mine is currently set to. I'm out of town for a week but will check when I get back.

The fact that all 8 values are so different for you vs me makes me think this is all part of the calibration procedure... Probably still the right way to do it but maybe not quite as straightforward as I was showing in the video.

I'm pretty sure your first statement is correct, since the -10 option, is a no-cost option. And I'm almost certain your 2nd statement is also correct, since I doubt there's any difference in the air springs. So it has to be the programming... which could be changed with PIWIS, I guess, like this discussion is all about.

Default Suspension Height Adjustment Procedure (GTS vs Turbo)

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this but I tested the other settings available in my version of of PIWIS 3 and found the magic "Turbo vs GTS" control for the PASM Height. Very easy to toggle between the two.

Here's a quick video of the procedure.

One of the issues I have with the Macan is that the instrument cluster lights only come on with the headlights. I would prefer to have them on all the time since they appear to be so dimly illuminated in sunlight. Have you been able to find a fix for this? If there is a setting, I would ask my dealership to change it. TIA.

There is coding to always turn-on the dial backlights, which is described in the Post # 256 in the link in post #4 of this thread. This certainly helps daytime cluster visibility, but it would also help if we can find a coding that would also always turn-on the red dial-pointer lights.
