The PSE on my '23 Macan S is plenty loud in Sport and Sport+. Any louder it would be obnoxious, and probably a little out of place on an SUV.

Nope. ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
My PSE system (model year '22) seems to work fine in the 1-4K range. Still stand by my statement..."If you want more sound, you'll have to go for an aftermarket exhaust system." However, it's your car so you can do whatever makes you happy.

Just to add some context, Porsche limits the valve opening positioning on the newer cars to comply with homologation around various global emission and sound requirements. This results in the valves not fully opening at various RPMs but also closing the PSE (sport/sport+) valve condition between 1-4K RPM. It's a tad complicated because in certain conditions, it will open up (like wide open throttle) in part of that range. It's more noticeable on the sport cars but some clients will purchase our valve simulators which will put the valve in a permanent PSE open state. Sound is always a preference thing but I wanted to add some background on how things work from the factory.

Yes, a standalone valve controller, Cargraphic currently offers one, we plan to test soon.

Rando thought... Are the valve motors easy to access? Why not get them open and then unplug the connectors to the actuator motors. They will remain in that state permanently at that point yes? Not sure if it would throw error codes or not though.
