Default What am I missing with rear cargo lights

It’s not like I ever really need the cargo area lights, but I would like them to work. I cannot seem to get either one to light up and I’ve tried every conceivable switch and even tried different bulbs and checked the C12 fuse in the rear but no luck. The rear passenger lights work with the console switch. Any idea what could be the issue? I ordered a new Icarsoft POR II which comes in a few days, so I can’t check for any codes yet.

Our usual complaint is that it works but too dim to see anything at night.
If that's the issue, this is the thread:

No, I know about the dim issue. I get no lighting from the original led and none with new and multiple replacement leds.

Are you sure you are even getting power at the end of the line?

Not sure, but they might not light up during the day. Check them at night.

Well, hot damn! I never expected this to be on a light sensor. Also, having newer 6 led’s on each side instead of the single led makes a huge difference.

Thanks everyone!
