Sell my Macan Turbo PP for a Cayenne Turbo GT?
I love my Macan. 38k mi. It looks like a baby TGT.
Remus exhaust, transmission mounts (shifts faster), Pedal Commander (immediate response), Coargraphic controller (lower height), wide body with custom wheels.
It rides very different from stock.
Suspension is tighter, wider contact patch makes it more planted in corners, sounds perfect, responds and shifts instantly. It also looks great (to my eye).
I absolutely love it but a chat with my SA has me thinking about a TGT.
Without taking money into consideration, should I upgrade?
My driving reasons are: 1) the Macan is a 2017 and things may start wearing, 2) want factor of the TGT
But I like small and light cars and the TGT takes me away from that.

If age is a worry, you are better off going with a new Macan rather than something 1,000lbs heavier. Then again, its still cheaper to stay with the amazing build you have and fix/upgrade anything needed age wise, even if its $20K over the next few years.

Thank you all. Lots to consider. Beyond the above, I love the lines of the Macan, especially with the mild wide body kit which accentuates the 911esque lines. OTOH, the TGT is a beast and a proper GT product. After watching some more videos, I'm getting closer to making the leap, though it won't be easy letting go of the Macan.

I'm not a fan of white cars, but your Macan is one of the best looking examples I've ever seen.

Pretty much on the side of yes at this point.
I'm in Mexico and the market is strong here. I've put ~$10-15k over the 2.5 years I've owned it and could probably break even.
Thank you. I wasn't into white either until this Macan. Now my incoming 992 is white and I'd probably order the TGT in white also.

Have you looked at Porsche? Their website. And looked at Cayennes there? Several are under their CPO program. Someone else took the initial first tax and depreciation dings.

Apparently Cayennes are cheapest in Mexico. A new TGT with the options I want will set me back about $190k with taxes included. Used ones are about $30k more due to tight allocations. Thankfully I can get one but still have to wait 8mos.

I’ve never driven a Cayenne TGT but it is a better overall SUV with the exception of cornering, I’m guessing. I love my ‘22 Macan GTS but the TGT is on a different level. Although I’m not a “big” SUV type, I’ll probably get a Cayenne S for my wife in a few years, as long as Porsche doesn’t take out the V8. I would get a TGT only if it was going to be my only car. First world problems.

Really like the look of your current Macan.
