I keep having intermittent PCM 5 display freezing up issues. I have tried turning the PCM off and on with the button and also restarting the car - both without success.
After a while, sometimes up to 20 minutes - it simply comes back to life.
Dealer says "normal"....?????
Anyone else, having this issue? or found solution?
Side note: No Android Auto....it's 2024......????

2022 Macan GTS 25K miles have never had any issues w/ the PCM lagging or freezing. I would press the dealer to replace the PCM and/or associated modules that drive the PCM if they cannot fix it. Definitely not "normal" for a PCM to freeze for up to 20 minutes!!! Laughable that a dealer would tell you to your face that is "normal" for your brand new car's control screen freezes for 20 minutes....OMFG. Also that's a major safety issue as many things are controlled from that screen.

Try another dealer or contact PCNA for help.

My 24 Macan T with 7k miles still haven't had any issue yet. I don't think that's normal.
Beauty of 2024 MY Macan is that nothing is really new tech. Everything has been tested enough, fixed most of issue along the way so it;s pretty seamless for me unlike 1st or 2nd year models.

Record the issue, bring it to a different dealer.
Definitely not normal.

My 2024 Macan still has PCM freezing problems. Dealer reset it a month agon and it still freezes. Yesterday they told me that many 2024s are having the same problem and that Porsche is aware of it. Hopefully working on a fix but who knows.....
Anyone else having the issue?
