You are not serious, right? I can see from the number of your posts you have been here forever. Maybe rephrase your question? What I consider the PCM Pone image is the total interconnection via blue tooth and the cell phone in my pocket. When a call comes in the PCM picks it up and all communication is done by voice hands free. What are you talking about?

I had my PCM phone off and my cellular calls go through my cellular phone via blue tooth just has it done on my previous cars so get the hands free using the Macans speakers and microphone. Turning on the PCM phone doesn't seem to have any use that I can discern. Does that make my question make a little more sense?

I have an older system. My Macan is a 2018. When the PCM is lit it is finger functional in phone mode. So this is why I am asking the questions.
