Am I doing something wrong? Apparently Android Auto is not available in my 2024 Macan GTS.

Not available for PCM5 from Porsche. It can however be activated fairly easily by a few forum vendors. Search here and you'll find them pretty easily.

'Search This Forum' for Android Auto. Two main vendors are Simaservis and InnovativeSoft.

I used Simaservis and it worked out great... you will need a few specific items (cables/connectors and a Windows laptop with ethernet) but he can walk you though in detail.

If you don't want to "code" your new car, you can also try a simple plug-in box that connects to the CarPlay USB port. More detail in my thread here. It still working great coming up on a year.
