Stop displaying trip mileage under odometer?

Anyway to do this?

I only want to see the total car mileage and remove the trip mileage underneath

I could have sworn it was like that initially and I pressed something which led to the trip data showing up

I use the trip mileage from fill up to fill up to calculate the miles per gallon. Trust me, it is not good.
