If they put the EV's on top of the deck when they start on fire, they could just roll them off the side. Makes sense to me!

There is already supposed to be a firewall of specified burn time duration between living and parking spaces. On high rises there are also fire suppression and alarm systems.

In southern Florida I would be MUCH more concerned about steel reinforcement bar corrosion embedded within concrete on high rise condo buildings, than an EV fire in the parking garage. There are sadly already more deaths attributed to the steel corrosion failure mode than to the EV fire failure mode.

(Don't worry, EVs still suck, even though the risk of personal injury from a parked vehicle is not horrible.) On the other hand, a horrible "driver" in the seat behind the steering wheel, causes a MUCH greater uncontrolled mass to be careening down the roadway, causing MUCH greater damage to innocents than if their butts were planted in ICE vehicles.
Especially crazy drivers in southern Florida. No such thing as blinkers or speed limits. Driving around Miami is like being in a NASCAR race.
