No, either the original leak is oil coming from some spot that's not visible unless I remove a bunch of components, or the UV light just made whatever fluid falsely illuminate (just like all the white UPC stickers, dirt specks, etc... On various parts) and is coming from something directly on top of that area. I'm going to try and get a better sample just to verify it does have the dye in it.

I'm going to use these 2 eBay photos to try and follow whatever lines I can, but the leak doesn't seem to start high, like a valve cover. I can run my hand under the cover and it's dry. Also no smoke or anything from hitting the exhaust manifold. So it has to be lower, maybe a turbo oil feed/return line or something.

When I let the car idle for 20min I got nothing but when I drove it for 4 min the leak showed up, so I can kind of assume maybe the added pressure from boost forced it out.

Perhaps it is from one of the liquid filled engine mounts, which look to be located right above the rack. Not sure if the Porsche V6 uses these, but they are commonly used on the Audi V6 engine, and they often will rupture and leak a few ounces of oil.

I was going to say this. In the first picture that streak looks thick and gummy. Which is usually how the fluid from the hydraulic mounts looks when it leaks out. What throws me for a loop is there is only so much fluid in the mount before it empties out.

Well I decided to drop the steering rack last night due to a vibration (motor mounts) and got to dig into the leak. I managed to track it all the way to the back of the engine, pass side, up top -- seems like its coming from this silver box. Looked up the part reference number from the one stamped on an engine on ebay (94610073010) and the only thing that came up was listings for secondary air pump brackets etc... is this the secondary air pump? I cant find any exact matching pictures of one online.

That round thing is the vacuum pump. Oil leaking from these is pretty common. The pump is driven off the back end of the intake camshaft. I believe there is an O-ring seal where it mounts to the back of the head.

Makes sense! Once I get everything back together and on the ground, I guess I'll pop it off and see whats back there. Anything special about replacing the gasket/oring? I'm assuming itll be pretty straight forward. Thanks!

Look for a "Vacuum Pump Rebuild Kit", Ebay or Amazon, as I don't think the O-rings (there are 2 or 3) are available from VW/Porsche/Audi.

This look about right? It says 3.6 but I have a 3.0 -- some quick research looks like they both use the same vacuum pump, just wanted to double check!

Not sure, for a 2015 Macan S 3.0, the repair kit needs to be for a Porsche 948 110 050 07 vacuum pump, which appears to have 2 O-rings: (this from my quick research, I could be wrong...)

Looks like it'll work! This kit on eBay is listed as a 3.6 kit and lists the part number you listed as a cross ref number. There look like it's a bigger 3rd oring under the whole assembly.
