When they're shipped I'm sure they have a VIN tied to the shipment so they can say it's for car x when it arrives, not specific to the VIN. For what it's worth HOEHN Porsche Carlsbad told me they get theirs in about a week after receiving off the boat.

My 2023 Macan T has been at my dealership waiting for the chip since Sept 11th. My SA said it was first come, first serve order of when they got them in. At the time there was 6 cars waiting. I was told mine was #3 I think.
I currently have a 2021 Macan, did I hear someone say they can swap the chip from that to my new one? I will be trading my 2021 with the dealership

Does anyone have experience with the quality of the base sound system compared to Bose, or Burmeister?

Just back from the dealer to lock in my Macan S build. Was told Bose is NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. While it may still appear in your configurator, it will be deleted when the dealer submits your build. Hopefully a temporary situation, but who knows for how long?

my dealer has 5 sold orders sitting awaiting amp for delivery . Longest sitting is almost 7 weeks
my car was delayed by 2 month because of port/shipping issues , so the whole production to dealer process is unpredictable

It was worth waiting for my 2022 Macan S. It finally got delivered right before we were leaving for an extended trip. In that short time, I came to love driving the car….best I have ever enjoyed. I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel. Only car I felt that way about before……my 2017 Macan S. In between the two, I had a 2020 MB AMG GLC43. Not even close!
