I hope others learn from this how important it is to select PPF installers after looking carefully at examples of their completed work. And I'm not saying this from a holier than thou perspective either as I too initially made the mistake of going with an installer who's work I had never seen and he butchered the installation. Fortunately he wasn't so incompetent as to cause paint damage but the edges were awful and a lot of contamination was stuck under the film. I decided to have it all redone properly by renowned shop after seeing their work on multiple cars and just ate the cost as a learning experience.
