HELP! MY23 Macan S arrived with mixed feeling

Please let us know how this is resolved. Would like to know since I can identify the dealership from your photo. Hope they make things right.
I had planned to have a specialist do full front PPF when I take delivery, but will live without it. As others have noted, it’s a car and will get scratched.

I was so worried about this and wasn't able to sleep much last night, so I decided to go back today and take another look to make sure I didn't miss anything else.
It seems that for the rest of the front, they used pre-cut film, so knife was not used. Knife was only used on the middle piece (different across the Macan trims), so maybe they don't have the pre-cut kit for that.
Tomorrow they will let me know what are the options, but they brought up a possible solution as last resort that I think it might be the best option - order the center piece from the factory and reinstall that piece only. Thoughts?
The minor one near the emblem they should be able to fix.

Three Wheelin'
Come on. I get that it's nice to have a Porsche loaner if you own a Porsche... but what difference would that REALLY make in this situation?
When I bought my 911 I had to wait a week between when I traded my 981 and could take delivery on the 911. The dealer was out of state, but in driving distance. They loaned me a used VW Touareg with 60k miles on it. I couldn't care less; I had transportation. That's all that mattered at that point in time.
There's reasonable expectations, and then there's this. A Porsche-branded loaner isn't the hill to die on.
This thread is very timely as I'm set to pick up my 23 Macan GTS AND 23 718 BGTS 4.0 next month, and I am considering PPF for both of them. This is the 2nd thread in as many weeks that's made me reconsider PPF altogether...
In your case though, if what I'm seeing is indeed just damage to the front painted section, then yes it appears that part alone could be reordered and painted by itself. The mark by the emblem is problematic but looks like it could be cleaned up easily enough by someone who knows what they're doing (hopefully not the same guy that caused it...). In theory, this solution should completely resolve the problem and not affect resale (or your peace of mind) at all. It really should lead to a satisfactory conclusion. I would hope that the dealer would throw in a free service or something like that because I can only imagine the amount of stress this scenario has induced, and buying a brand new Porsche should be absolutely stress-free.
But this is some scary stuff. If that damage had been on a section of the car that wouldn't be easily replaced there's no way I would have accepted delivery, which leads to all sorts of problems for everyone. But this type of damage is UNACCEPTABLE on any brand new car, not just a Porsche. \
I'm considering XPEL Stealth on the whole car. I'm usually somewhat tolerable with my expectations but I promise I will not be if I'm spending 5 figures on (semi)clear plastic.

My Macan S was finally ready to pick up last Sunday. The car looks gorgeous!
During the signing process with the finance guy, I was talked into a full front PPF + ceramic coating (interior + exterior). The price was acceptable as I didn't want to drive it without PPF on the way home, so I agreed to do it.
Fast forward to today, the car is ready for pick up. I was so excited about driving it home. But then I found a few knife cuts from the PPF installation...see pics. They cut into the paint! 3 of them on the bumper next to the center vent. And one on the hood near the Porsche emblem. I am so heart broken.
Dealer said they will fix it with their body shop...but not sure how...repaint might be need. I am definitely going to reject a repaint on a brand new car.
What are my options? See if they can fix it without a repaint? Get a full refund for PPF and coating + cost to fix the damage? Take the car as is and ask for a compensation? Return the car and order a new one (is this even possible)?
I didn't take the car home...waiting for the dealer to come up with a solution.

If it was mine, I'd ask for professional repair of the damaged areas and a full refund on the PPF and ceramic coating work. After 2 years/25k miles you'll have other dings/nicks, the newness will be worn off and you'll feel good about getting this extra work done free. Replacing the center piece may take forever to get the part..and you'll get no financial "rebate". Bummer this happened but a good thing you looked the car over closely. Burlingame has a good rep so hopefully will treat you right!

I like ppf. Macan really just needs the front, hood, side mirrors and maybe first few inches of the roof;
Other parts don't get hit with road debris.
But those pics show the people who applied it DGAF when trimming it. Sucks.
Take it. Ask for a refund for the full price of the extras and ask them to get a pro to fix the cuts.
Repainting the whole panels or car for those nicks is not worth it. Then enjoy the ride because you are going to get worse on the road and
parking lots.

The way I see it is the following:
The damage can be fixed and most likely , you will never know .. If the dealer can compensate you for the trouble like 2-3 k , then matter is solved.
If this is too upsetting emotionally for you and you are not in a rush, there is plenty of Macan allocations and you can build one , or they can find an incoming car from other dealers with close or identical build that they can get.
