Good choice, it looks good. I have ordered the Xpel ultra kit as well, I like the glossy look.
I think my guys ended up freehanding it from sheet Xpel instead of getting the kit. The kit would come with a bunch of pieces that I didn't want. I didn't think it was necessary to cover all those non-touch surfaces that come w/ the kit, personally.

Thinking the same way, I was able to obtain just the pieces that cover the center console and the monitor screen.
I haven't done anything yet to protect those surfaces, but I pulled off that red sticker soon after getting my car. It kind of sticks out like a sore thumb. I don't think I'll have any trouble remembering to keep it under 150. Was thinking of putting it on my 964, but it's still ugly and 150 mph is a fantasy.
The 150-mph sticker is based upon the speed rating of the tire supplied with the vehicle. For instance, 150mph is the max speed for "V" rated tires. The sticker is placed there to warn you not to exceed the tires limits. Should your tires have a higher rating (W=170, Y=186+), go for it.
BTW, Porsche claims top speed for the GTS is 169mph.
That looks awesome and it's the way it should have been done. Was extremely lucky to get my 2021 Carmine Red S as an incoming vehicle to the local dealer last October. Really wanted the matte physical buttons vs gloss black touch points. Still like the buttons better but you did an amazing job, it looks more luxurious and will be much easier to live with!
Had mine done today with my detailer on our 22 GTS. They did the touch strip near the buttons too (but over the 150mph sticker which I would have removed first but whatever). Came out great. Buttons work just as before no change noted in sensitivity. This is Xpel PPF in regular gloss, I chose not to go w/ the matte as the OP did above, personal preference.
Looks good. Without the matte, does it still get rid of the fingerprint and smudging? Or is it primarily to protect the trim?

Hello Nickshu, this is an old thread I know, but just curious to hear how you like the regular gloss Xpel on your console: any fingerprints, any glare...?

I already answered this question in the post above.
