Last Fall they had north of 50,000 "Superduty Truck's" built without chips - adding to their problems was - they were all 2021's and they had a mid model update for 2022 - key updates included the Sync 4 system (up from Sync 3) with a new 12" NAV screen in uppper models, up from 8" to 12" - so how do you sell old model, new trucks - 25,000 2021's still sitting. They have customers with 2021 orders still outstanding, they may get a 2021 at some point for a large discount or they will just go to dealers to be moved along. In this market they would have no problem selling them.
At the time they had taken over Kentucky speedway and all of its parking just for Superduty trucks!

My favorite shot - Note on sign "Toyota Parking"

Wouldn't be surprised if most of those are still there.
This chip shortage SUCKS. Engineers will talk about it for the rest of our lives, the way our parents and grandparents talked about growing up in the Depression.
