Hi all!

New to this forum, so please forgive me if this has been covered before! My 21 GTS has started to show signs of premature wear on the passenger front interior door panel. This isn't caused by anyone scratching the door, and you can see that it has started happening in multiple places.

Has anyone had this happen before? If so, what did you do about it?

From what I can see, the covering appears to be delaminating. Best take it to the dealer for repair/replacement. I've done repairs to similar problems by using a syringe to inject contact cement under the surface, then pressing the leather back with a plastic tool similar to that used by the protective film guys.

Certainly not normal from what I've experienced. You're under warranty so as stated above, visit deal and open a warranty claim.

2021?!? Warranty claim/replacement for sure. Don’t sweat it.

NC Trackrat is correct, that is a lift of the vinyl in those areas, it's a warranty item and Porsche will replace the door panel. You only have leather on the top portion.....

...they look like dents to me - like something pressed against the door panel and left the dents behind.

from the photos, it's too difficult to tell whether areas are lifting or areas are compressed.

In any event, your MAcan is still under warranty. Let the dealer sort it out.
