I have an allocation for a '22 Macan S that locks in 2 weeks. However, there is also an allocation for what will likely be a '23 that locks 2 months after that. There doesn't seem to be any information about differences between the model years yet. Is there any reason to wait for the '23 outside of just wondering if there will be a meaningful upgrade?

Unlikely, the 22's were already the facelift, they won't make any meaningful changes for the 23's. At most maybe an existing option made standard (at a higher MSRP as they usually do), but no real changes.
No. 2024 is likely the first full year of the Macan EV. Porsche won’t kill the ICE version until they’re sure the EV is a big seller. No reason to kill the golden goose too early.
Nothing wrong with a 2022 that is built just how you want it! Get it and enjoy. 2023 will have ACC, so that offsets $900 of the $3,000 price increase - if you are not getting that - 2023, is just costing you more. Also if you are financing or leasing - rates are likely to continue to rise, so sooner will be better there as well.
I have an order in for a 2022 GTS and dealer told me last week that the allocation has now been rolled over to a 2023 build. I was ok with that, except I sold my car a few months ago and have been driving my F-350 truck daily, which is ok, but not ideal. I stopped by the dealer this morning after a meeting next door and they had a 2022 S that came in last Friday, was an ordered car and the party decided not to take it. It was same color as my GTS order, so I leased it and will drive it until I can get the GTS. Honestly it may be all I need - love it!

GLWD!
Beautiful lease you got there.
I agree, if you get the 2023, you are stuck with the eyeball in front. Not a deal-breaker for me, but I was VERY happy I could get mine without it. No wrong answer here, really.
Thank you for all the responses! I decided to take the earlier '22 allocation! However, looks like the price jump affects anyone who isn't already locked. Given that I was going to option ACC anyway, it isn't a big deal. But it kinda sucks for anyone that doesn't want it on a '22.
I'd like to correct something that I wrote before regarding '22 vs '23 ordering: The new price change DOES NOT affect the '22 MY (so that takes about 3k off the base price). However, if you are ordering a '22 you must now explicitly ask for ACC since it is no longer in the configurator.
