Default Quirky Question

Just bought my wife a 2021 Macan. Her old Q5 had sun visors that could be extended along the length of the window. Will a Q5 unit work with the Porsche figuring it needs to work the convenience light

First thing for you to do would be to visually check that the mounting hardware/bracket are compatible and then if the cover material looks the same,

Any luck with this? The factory sun visors are really deficient... would be great to have a bolt-on improvement.

Yeah, seriously. Even some basic Fords have extending visors! To pay this much and have such a limitation is ridiculous.

Great idea, but the attachment points/clips on the Q5 sun visor is very different,
so it won't fits, at least won't fit right out of the box, even if you can swap the clip then you have to deal with different finish material between the two...

How about Cayenne visors? I plan to investigate with our dealer service folks. Agree that a $100k+ car that touts engineering and safety should have visors that “work”.
