Default dubber's 2022 Macan S

Well, after submitting my build and deposit in October, my local dealer has FINALLY said that I officially have an allocation! Build will be a 2022 Macan S in Chalk, super excited! Dream come true for me to both order a brand new Porsche and accompany that with a Euro Delivery experience. Those two items will check off two bucket list items for me, that fingers crossed I'm hoping turn out as planned. Currently awaiting confirmation on actual date for ED, but end of August is where we are looking right now. We had been offered as early as July 12th but end of August will work better for our vacation plans. To note this will be a daily driver for my wife and I who both work from home. I believe this is the sweet spot in the range for a "budget" SUV that accommodates everything we want/need. The 2022 changes are certainly exciting with the primary benefit of getting an S with the 2021 GTS motor. Using this thread as a repository to document the process as i do this on various platforms with other fun cars. BTW fun car is a 997 911 (link to thread below)

We chose Leipzig for our delivery for a few reasons and I've already had the opportunity of touring the Museum and factory in Stuttgart.

Please feel free to share any suggestions on the car, euro delivery and potential mods

Thanks Chong0! Looks like you are also expecting a new one

If I had a garage that nice I'd charge myself at least $250/hour to use it.

Amazing! Congrats to you sir. I'm so excited about the colour especially. Been obsessed with it since helping a family friend spec his Panamera several years ago. What are your first impressions of the car?

garage looks great! Quick question about those cabinets in the back right corner, are those the brand New Age? I am currently in the process of building a house and thinking about getting a set for my garage. If they are New Age how do you like them? And do you have any issues with them?

It's fantastic. If you want to read my journal, I put it up on the macanforum. It's called Mr. Wolfe's 2022 GTS Build Journal.

OP, can't wait... I'm not sure I would be traveling to Germany right now. Ex-wife wanted to take the kid to Bremen and visit her relatives who have never met our child. DENIED.
Post some pics when you get it, These fancy man-cave pics make me and the dirt floor shed where I park my ride feel bullied, lol

Hey, yea those are New Age. Bought new when we moved here, and to be honest i have no regrets with that purchase. Always on sale somewhere, and bang for buck they are great!

I'm very excited to go. I've been a few times with my wife, who was born there and has lots of family still living there. Half the fun of the purchase of this car is the Euro Delivery.
