I will be ordering a 2022 Macan GTS to replace my wife's Macan, I have the actual Macan with H&R springs with a nice height. I know the GTS comes with air suspension but here is the thing, in the configurator there is a zero-cost option, that I cannot understand.
If I don't select this option the Macan will get air suspension but do I have different levels?
If I check this box, it says the car raises 10mm than std air suspension.
Can anyone explain the real differences between this two? and if someone has a photo in the lower setting I will appreciate it!
I just locked my spec on a 22 GTS. I thought you got the same different height options, but all were 10mm lower with the GTS spec (ie not checking the box). At least that’s what I’m hoping it meant! I currently have 20 Turbo with no air suspension and the stance is terrible. Looks like a lift kit is on it.
Following with interest to see if I’m mistaken. I’ve emailed my SA and will update when i get a response.
I’m not that impressed with the configurator.

The "standard" adaptive air suspension on GTS models sits 10 mm lower than the "standard" adaptive air suspension offered on all other models (base & S). As a no cost option, on the GTS, you can get the 10 mm higher suspension that's supplied to the other models. In other words, there are two adaptive air suspensions: one is 10 mm lower than the other. The GTS comes standard with the lower of the two. Should you want the higher of the two on your GTS, you must request it as a no cost option.
Additionally, both air suspensions provide a ride height adjustment of high and low position.

^^^This. I went with the standard height. I am not off-roading with the Macan so saw no reason to get the 10mm taller and softer optional version.

How much lower is the low position, and can you leave it as a default or do you set it at every startup?

On my 22 S with AS, low level is 20mm lower than normal height mode. I know some literature says 10mm lower, but I measured a 3/4" (20mm) drop in low setting.
And yes, selected low level as default - stays low after shutoff-restart.

This is what m SA told me as well. He also said the no cost optional air suspension is a softer ride than the GTS. As in less sporty.
I just received word today my GTS is completed and V300 as the GTS package wheels had stalled my build.
I was stoked until I just read this thread as I thought the standard suspension package was steel springs and clicking the button was actually the opposite and would give me better handling….
oh well the wife will he happy that it’s softer suspension🤦🏻♂️

I wonder if the dealership can program that 10mm back to the GTS default?

Mr. Wolfe
The dealership is looking into, yet they think there’s more difference between the suspension set ups then just the program, I think they said the air bladders are different.
