I understand. In any case, the Macan GTS appears to be a very fun & capable “hot hatch like” vehicle. I wanted a RS4 but since we are deprived here in the states, Macan GTS looks like a great alternative. In any case, enjoy your GTS when you take delivery. Looks like a nice build.

Mine started life as Beverly Hills Porsche loaner. It is missing options I would have added but has a few I like but would not have paid Porsche for (has the black-out trim but no roof rails, etc.) At this point I am happy to have made the purchase when I did. Although it's not perfect, I can't imagine finding anything decent for less than $40K -OR- finding a car AT ALL! ...that small sales lot near my home (which was packed with cars six months ago) has two campers and a Toyota sitting.

RS6 is sooo nice but I can’t justify paying $120k+ for a wagon/SUV right now. Congrats on your GTS.

Finally got the allocation a couple days ago. My last day to change anything is December 14th. So far I've added the GT wheel.
My biggest dilemma right now is whether to get the full leather or stick with leather only on seats.
Theres also the very minor bits like getting the ionizer (if it would filter allergens), puddle lights and those illuminated door sills?
If anyone has any input on those points it would be much appreciated.

puddle lights and those illuminated door sills ...pass on these and save the $ for full leather. It is overwhelming satisfying to look at and feel.

Second that. I think the puddle lights would get old pretty quickly. The full leather is 100% worth it. Very different ambience with the leather verse standard dash and door cards.

The PTV is definitely worth it. Had a GTS without it and now a GTS with it. I feel the difference on the street. I regret not getting the PSCB though. The brakes aren't good enough on the GTS at least. Though 3500 is a lot and I'm not sure how expensive they are to replace. It's not like the PCCB that will pretty much last the life of the car unless you track your car. Also I didn't want the white calipers.
I noticed on the 2022 GTS this option is like under 1000 bucks which is stupid and ridiculous to me.

Even though there are always design elements that run through all (or most) Porsches, there's at least some kind of major difference that makes each car feel at least slightly special and to have its own character & personality on the inside...dashboard layout, seat detailing, etc. You just don't get that with Audi, which is a shame (and I like Audis a lot...I've had four of them in the last 20 years and my wife has a new SQ5).
