Default New Macan pickup tomorrow.... or not as the case may be

Had a call from the SA at lunch time. “Sorry to tell you we have had the car for a week, it’s been through it’s checks and failed on a damper leaking, so we’ve ordered a new one, should be ready next week”

Now call me sceptical, but this car has air suspension...... and the word “fluid” was being banded around..... can someone explain or are we looking at transport damage and being taken for a ride (excuse the pun)?

It’s the wife’s macan turbo, she’s been looking forward to it for a long time now, and £80k of car it wants to be perfect on delivery.

Air suspension just replaces the spring part, not the damper part. The damper has the fluid in it.
