turbo transmission fault
My 16' Macan turbo (63k miles) had 2 separate incident of transmission fault code under normal driving. Dash message shown as "Transm. fault Poss. no R gear Drive on poss.". I restarted the car each time and car drivers fine.
I was told these macans are known to have some type of transfer case issues or the solenoild inside the transmission migth be bad.
Have anyone here experienced similar issues?

There have been quite a few PDK replacements in Macans due to fsilure, to the tune of $10k-$14k as not much is serviceable on them and requires a full replacement. My advice would be to look into adding an aftermarket warranty before it actually fails, especially if you're getting more frequent or start getting a different transmission related error. If adding the warranty, I would not take it to Porsche prior s,o there is NO documented issue before the start date of the warranty.
There are also transfer case issues, but don't think they trip a transmission error.

In all of my research I never came across an instance where someone with the transfer case issue had this error. So I second the above about getting a warranty, though in your shoes I'd probably just dump it via Carmax or Carvana before it really becomes an every day thing.

The car is at the dealer now. My car does have an extended warranty on transfer case until 2023 and cpo until end of 2022. I think i am covered until then and will look to extend the warranty if i keep the car after 2022
