I am about to lock my 2021 Macan S build and just wanted to confirm that the smoking package for MY 2020 ( and I believe all "face lifted" 2019+ models) does not change the rear seat console configuration from the standard non smoking package cars.

It seems that pre face-lift (<2018) models had a rear ash tray added with the smoking package and the face lift models simply have a dual USB port regardless of smoking package or not. The Porsche configurator is a tad cryptic and shows what looks like the pre facelift rear console but says "front" in the description.

Can't help with face-lift Macans, but I ordered our 18 GTS with smoking package. No rear ash tray and it has dual USB.

This crap varied by region. In north America, 2018 and up got a dual USB port back there regardless of smoking pack or not. 2017 and earlier got a cigarette lighter style socket regardless of smoking pack or not.

Non smoking package gets a hole whilst smoking package gets a pretty cover to hide the hole. And for once...no charge

I actually didn't order the smoking package. I had it in my 2015, and while the cover was nice, I couldn't fit my phone in the hole when I opened it. It fits very nicely in the hole of the non smoking console.

That's what the arm rest cubicle is for. That hole, IMHO of course, is just unsightly. I didn't order it as I quit smoking 4 years ago after... years. But when I saw the hole I just retrofitted it.

I have the smoking package on my 2019 Gen 2 Macan.

No ash tray in the rear console. Two USBs present. Adjustable rear temperature present.

I had the same questions when ordering because I didn't want to lose the USBs.
