Default Bonehead move of the week

So had a bit of a parking lot mishap... was parallel parked in a tight lot. Went to back up and tapped a car be kind me that I didn’t realize was there... yes despite the persistent beeping from the car telling me so. Anyhow, tapped the car behind me. No real damage
to the GTS other than a bent license plate and a barely noticeable paint chip. After closer inspection of the rear area I noticed a small button and a greasy like fluid coming from the rear view camera...

Anyone know if this button is normally there or if it popped like a turkey timer due to the hit?? Everything seems to be working normally. Any insight would be helpful. Clearly irritated with myself but could’ve been worse.
Thanks
