Using the Macan for a loaner a few times, we fell in love with them. Extremely enjoyable ride. Time for a build!! It will be a DD for my wife replacing her Rav4. Some road trips, possibly ski trips.
If you were to build your own, what items would you have or do differently? Which items would you not get?

On the new Macan Configurator, it does not list Apple CarPlay. Is that an option?
I have never seen any Brilliant Silver side blades on any Macan pic (instagram, etc...). I think they would really pop with silver rims & the Silver window trim & Silver Roof Racks.
I had an Agate interior on a 2018 911 that I thought was nice. I really don't care for black and know it is popular for the SBM.
It doesn't mention, however I assume this will come with Apple Play.
I would opt for a Carrera White Metallic with Natural Espresso Leather however that's my 2019 Targa4S
I would suggest not to get the silver side blades You can get black or body colored ones.
Apple carplay is standard now for US 2021 models.
I didnt get the PASM + AS, so i went for 20 inch wheels instead of 21.
If money is not a constraint get an S. But if its mostly city driving i dont think it matters a lot.
Sports chrono is a personal preference. I have heard folks says they have used the boost/launch control a couple of times. But its nice to have the driving modes on the steering wheel. The different exhaust tips doesnt matter i think.
I think the silver side blades look terrible. Obviously you’re free to disregard my opinion. I got mine in CF, which is the pricey option but looks really cool. It’s a lot of surface area covered in carbon for the money, relatively speaking for Porsche. Black is good too. I personally like the side blades in a contrast color (but not silver lol) because it has a slimming effect on the side of the car.
The wheel options make the biggest visual upgrade on the car, so I’d shell out for those. I went with black sport classics but you can’t go wrong if you opt for those RS spyders.
I like your second design that ties exterior parts like the door handles, blade, roof rails in black. Looks very coherent (is that the extended exterior package in black).
Have a 2019 Base Macan as a DD - plenty of power for me living in the Mpls/St. Paul area had an M3 before and could never use the power - when I push the "sport button", it's plenty of power and fun! Wheels and exhaust tips make a HUGE difference - I have the black quad tips and love them - and I have the 20 inch satin turbo wheels on Volcanic Grey Metallic with black side blades - love the look with the black tips and the satin wheels!

Wow - love your spec. I’m getting CWM with blades in body color. I also like your wheels the best but got the 20” turbo wheels. I was told the sport classics only come with summer tires. Will you have to put winter tires on when the snow flies?
OP - definitely like the second spec better but as mentioned above I prefer side blades painted body color. My current base macan has black side blades and it sets off my ocd!

I have a set of Blizzaks mounted on MSW wheels for winter use. Had them on this past winter, even thought it hardly snowed. I'm a big fan of dedicated winter tires.
