Question Adding 1 quart of oil between service?

My 2015 Macan S warned to add 1 quart oil before service, which is due in about 6 months. It has 65K miles on it, and it never happened before. Is this kind of normal? Any ideas???

Thanks,

Default Oil

DFI motors may go through some oil and not unusual to go through a quart in 3-5k miles, driving conditions also playing a factor.

I was going to ask the same thing. I had to start adding oil between services. At the next visit, noticed oil at the cover.

Only time I had to add oil between changes (car has 140,000 miles and oil changes every 7.5-10k miles) was when I had a leak. It was at the oil filter housing. I was not yet aware that the o ring required on the Macan was bigger than the one that comes with the mahle filter.

Check the timing chain cover, it's a known issue. Don't assume that since dealer does oil changes, they will notify you of leakage.

Thanks,
Aside from visible leak there’s nothing to see here. Your owner’s manual states oil consumption of 0.8L/1000km is normal.
