Default Factory Order 2021

I’m trying to factory order a Macan S and my dealer is saying there is no Carrara White with Agate Gary / Pebble Gray interior option for 2021.

Does anyone have any insight on why I can’t order that interior combination?

I was able to select both options in the Build configurator, not sure what your SA is referencing

Online yes. I was too and he was too but when he went to place the order in the system he said Porsche discontinued Pebble Gray / Agate Gray interior for 2021.

looking for some insight. As that interior color has been available in most Porsches since forever.

If you are dubious, talk to another dealer. Not sure why the SA would be feeding you a line, though.

The online configurator still is for MY20. Don't jump to conclusions. Porsche changes it yearly and also has a history of errors with that changeover.

But the print out after you build it online says “2021”

Either case I’m sad that I can’t get pebble gray/agate gray interior.

I have a feeling it will become available as soon as my config is locked and I can’t make any changes. Sad. I settled for red.

Sad? Settling? I think not. Here's mine.

LoL thanks. I think it looks awesome. It’s nice! But white was just my first choice.

do you have the heated steering wheel? Do you know if it’s thicker than the original? I would pay $280 to have a thicker steering wheel

BTW what discount did you score with the 992 order. I'm starting the process for a 992C4 interested to see what folks are getting

EBM, I do have the heated steering wheel. I don't know how it compares to a non heated wheel. I also had the heated wheel in my first Macan. It seems pretty thick to me, especially compared to the Audi Allroad I had in between Macans. I have pretty small hands, so I not the best judge.

Siberian, I got a 5% discount, which I think is pretty good for a Targa. There probably won't be a ton of allocations. I've bought several cars from this dealer, and they sort of owed me one for taking 3 months to repair the damage to my 991.2 after an unfortunate run in with a deer. On the 992 forum some folks are saying they got as much as 10% but not on Targas.

Thanx Tom. Just wanted an order of magnitude and as a return customer within 6 months and following the previous "experience" I'm definitely overdue for some "love"

PS Congrats on the Targa, may you enjoy it in good health!
