After I bought my Macan Turbo, I noticed it had all season tires on it. About that time, the Rennaisance Festival was in full swing. Drove up north of town and found I could not handle the curves as I remembered in previous years/cars. Swapped them out for Continental Sport 6's and the same damned thing. Could not track well. I'm thinking I bought a crappy car! Then 10K later, I swap the Conti's out for a set of Goodyear tires AND have them check the alignment. BOOM! The chart below shows the numbers as well as the range. Way out! Mind you... it was out from the factory and not from potholes or curbs or off-roading. Next set of tires you get, you might want to have them* check the alignment too.
*-Dealership has been the only one to swap/balance tires on my Macan since new. Damaged wheel, missing valve cap -> One number to call. One throat to choke. Single part responsibility.
Alignment? They hardly did anything...they brought in the front right toe a bit, that's the only adjustment made. The before numbers aren't that terribly off that it would feel like a night and day difference.

X2, my thoughts exactly. They didn't do much, if anything left rear toe is worst then before. Front toe was out before and fixed afterwards. The car will feel more responsive to steering inputs with that fixed, and maybe that's what Bruce is sensing.

I doubt the rear toe is the result of an adjustment, probably just measurement error in the before/after numbers.
The fact that both tires and alignment were adjusted at the same time...I'd still bet the tires made the bigger difference. Having done both tire swaps to like category (e.g. UHP to UHP) and studied every alignment ever done on my vehicles, the tire swaps have more impact than the alignments do, even when the alignments have been far further out of spec than what the OP had.
Yes, had mine checked shortly after I took delivery of my GTS because it didnt seem to be tracking quite straight, and the steering wheel was very slightly off center when on a flat un-crowned surface. Sure enough it was out of alignment just a bit. Dealer got it perfect. So yes, worth of check for those that have never done it.
Guess I need to explain this a little. The pic I posted was after I had paid for a full alignment and had driven home. I never bothered to look at the paperwork I was handed BEFORE my dumbaZZ drove away. Read that last line again everyone. I didn't inspect what I expected and had paid for and drove away. My dad as an automobile state inspection owner in South Philadelphia, he would always tell a customer: 'I will guarantee the alignment as long as it stays in the garage'. This was more in reference to the streets back in the 50's, 60's in Philly. Fortunately, they did right after having to lose several hours out of my life I'll never get back, in correcting the alignment. The ppw is around here somewhere. Tax season. I'll try to post a pic of the finished alignment numbers if I find them.
I have a related alignment question. I got new front P zero 21" tires. I had 12K on the front previous that had uneven wear on the outer edges of the tires. The rears are still old have 7-8 32nd tread. so i kept the old rear ones on. I did not get alignment done on the new tires. The new tires with only 400 mostly city miles appear to be wearing the outer edges ALREADY. I am going to get a hunter hawk eye elite alignment done this week, for precaution - but should I be surprised the outer are wearing out ALREADY. Will get the suspension checked out as well.

Get it checked as soon as possible. Oly 400 miles should be okay. Once done, check the tire pressure. I believ emost have been following the guidelines on the inside of the gas cap cover. Personally, I believe mine has too much understeer. So I run 36 in front and 38 in the rear. I do believe going from Goodyear tires to NO Pirellis, I have noticed the Pirellis have a fatter sidewall. This will allow the tires to roll more. So, as soon as these wear out or I stab each one to give me a reason that much sooner Im going back to Goodyear Asymmetrics. I live in the Gulf Coast area, Houston.
Bought a new 2021 Macan Turbo last November. Because of the time of year, received it with winter tires...20" Michelin Alpins, which I have long thought are terrific winter tires. But the suspension, steering, etc. felt pretty "blah." After switching to the summer tires--20" Goodyear Asymmetric F1--the car feels so much better. An amazing transformation.
