I was on the morning Caroline ship. Landed March 31. Was your panamera on that boat. Did it get picked up yet. I was told mine wasn’t picked up yet.

my dealership emailed me with the documents showing that the car was unloaded and had an inspection. But it is still at the autoport in halifax awaiting transport onto the train that takes cars to toronto. Cars can sit at the port for 1 day to 2 weeks before being transported and the transportation process takes 5 days.

Ok that makes sense. My 2018 911 gts4 came in 2 days directly on an enclosed transport. Train takes longer. Looks like pfaff is the only TORONTO sales dealer that is not operating sales. Service is reopening this week.

Pfaff is not an official Porsche dealership. It's a private dealership owned by Chris Pfaff, same with all the pfaff dealerships (pfaff Pagani, audi, porsche, etc...) so they have their own protocol such

Just got word that my Panamera 4S is now also at the dealership. Working out delivery times and details right now. Pretty sure our cars were on the same train that came here haha. Same ship and train.

What’s the typical time from placing an order to delivery? If I ordered one around May 1 when should I expect delivery?

it would depend. Just putting or order in doesn't mean that you'll get a build slot right away. It only confirms that you'll get one... eventually. Depending on the demand of the car and how many allocations for the car there are at your local dealership, it can range. In addition, the Porsche factories right now are on hold due to supply chain shortages as a result of COVID-19. Usually, delivery can can be anywhere from 4-9 months after delivery. Confirm with your dealership. Usually, a car should take a bit less then a week on the assembly line to build. Transport and delivery should be approx 4 weeks after the build of the car is done. Ask your dealership for exact numbers, especially during covid 19 and all these factory closures.

Mine has been at the port of Emden for 30 days. Not sure what there issue is but timelines seem to no longer be accurate. Porsche factory is supposed to open again Monday but that has nothing to do with ships and the port unless there are not enough cars to fill the ships.

That's strange because I'm pretty sure my car left port around exactly 30 days ago. Maybe try asking your dealership/sales rep? Maybe there are too many cars to fill onto the ships since covid 19 is really messing up port services.

Mine is in Pdi and they are just figuring out logistics to get it to me. Lease was up April 5 and they charged an extra month so its paid til May 5 so i guess they are not rushing to deliver. Salesman is at home and cant do much. Just got the contact to the delivery manager. Will work on things next week.

My car finished left the port of emden on in mid march around March 18th or 19th on the ship Morning Caroline and it arrived in Halifax port in Canada on March 31st. It sat at the autoport for around 10 days and then it made its way to my dealership. Delivery for the car is planned for next week on tuesday (so in 4 days).

It's really weird but I was looking at ship that my car was on (Morning Caroline) and the ship that arrived after that (Siem Cicero) and both their routes are Emden to halifax to Davisville to Houston. Maybe Jacksonville is just a less stopped at port?
