Default '17 or '18 Turbo vs '19+ S

Assuming the money was about the same, what would be the better option? Power over updates or updates over power??

We've had our 2020 S for a week. I would, without question, get a 17 or 18 Turbo if I could do it all over again.

Why?

See this thread.

Only one of them has a 3.6L Porsche engine without a particulate filter.

If you're debating between the S and Turbo, you should probably just get the S.

I opted for ordering a pretty well loaded 2020 S for a few reasons. I had a 2015 Turbo and found that the extra horsepower was nice, but for most driving conditions I didn't really need it. I prefer a new car over a preowned car. I wanted to build a car to my specs (http://www.porsche-code.com/PLFY8IL1). I like the designs of both the new interior and exterior.

Thanks. I'm hoping it'll be here by Thanksgiving.
