Love the car. Solid, drives great. Good fit and finish.
Hate the unending gongs, zones, tones and so on. The proximity sensors are a buzz kill.
No way to latch it off so the burden of this feature is that is has to be turned off each time the car is started.
Is there a way to disable the proximity sensors at the source by cutting a wire or other methods?

The rear hatch irritating noise can be turned off at the dealer's using their plug in gizmo. Ask if the other noises are as easy to deal with.

For the newer Cayennes where you can't defeat the auto start / stop feature, there's a company that makes a module that let's you turn it off, and it also remembers the setting. Also let's you select things like air suspension setting, normal or sport mode and set those preferences as defaults. Since my Cayenne is an 09,i didn't pay too much attention to the specifics but maybe you can find that thread and see if the module will also work with the Macan.

Find the fuse that keeps the circuit humming, pull it.
