I was self PPI-ing a 2016 Macan S today with ~26k miles which drove ok, stopped and checked under the hood after a drive and heard a pidgeon squeaking sound on the driver side bank while idling (noticeably different squeaky sound which didn't match the DFI injector clatter on the passenger side bank). Scanned it with my scanner and noticed a few pretty alarming codes in the DME that I can't find online. It seems like Macan is still too new for the DIY community so there's not much knowledge out there (unlike Cayenne 958), but I thought I'd try:
P1149 Oil pressure-regulating valve: power supply
P0077 Valve lift control driver, bank 1
P0083 Valve lift control driver, bank 2
P0685 Start delay due to undervoltage
Here's my full scan report: http://aitus.golo365.com/Home/Report...96819&source=1
There's like a billion codes for voltage failure since the battery died while at the used dealer, I'm overlooking all those, but anything valve lift related from past experience variocam / variocam plus stuff is not a good sign. I don't clear codes on cars I don't own so who knows, maybe it'd go away and not come back, but still. Anyone ever seen these before?
