I especially like the relative shallow depth of field on that last shot, adds a nice element, really makes the vehicle pop. I would have shot that using my 200mm f2 lens wide open at a bit of a distance for a similar effect.

200mm f2 would look amazing! In hindsight I wish I had taken my 70-200 f2.8 along. I usually shoot this bridge with a UWA 14mm to really embrace the trusses but had another lens in the car so shot it wide open at 105mm f4 as a test. I agree it came out nice and a little larger aperture would only have improved it!
Stopped by Sonnen today and came across this beautiful Macan GTS dealer spec'd PTS Forest Green Metallic with Espresso Leather Interior. Wish this was my Macan GTS! Hope it finds a good home.
Do any of your late-model Macans have the option to permanently turn off auto door locking when the car starts, and/or to permanently turn off the auto-stop/start feature when the car comes to a stop?
The former can be permanently turned off in the Panamera (both generations); evidently, the latter can only be turned off in the first-gen Panamera. I'm considering getting a 2019 Macan and am curious about this; I had test-driven a 2018 Macan S, and it didn't seem to have a way to turn off auto door locking, but I'm not sure I checked the auto-stop/start. I wonder if the higher-optioned versions of Macan have these options.

Thanks!
The start/stop can be controlled with the button on the lower right. Not so the door locks. It seems better for me to use Sport mode around town. You have to choose it every time you start the car. In this mode the start/stop feature is not applicable. The perimeter buzzer also has to be deactivated every time you start the car. It is the first button on the left overhead.
