Default MICHELIN PS4 FOR MACAN IN 21"

My apologies if this was covered, i haven't seen it yet.

I have a 2016 Macan S with OEM sport classic 21" wheels. Right now i have snow tires on but need new summer tires in a few weeks.

When you go on tire rack now and select the OEM staggered Macan 21" tires sizes they now offer the new PS4.

I really want to get these tires for my Macan, but not if they will create an issue. Can anyone shed any light on if these tires would be ok? I'm a little apprehensive since the Macan is an SUV and this tire is for cars? The load rating seems fine, and the Macan is a small SUV. I also hear the OEM Macan tires are designed specifically for the SUV and other tires even though the correct sizes will not perform as well.

Any infomation, advise, or insight is greatly appreciated.

here's a link to the tires.............

The OE tires are the P-Zeros. Same tire on the 911s. The new hot tire from Michelin is the PS4S. They are replacing the PSSS, and that tire replaced the PS2s. You should be fine with your consideration.

When I'm shopping tires, I always ask myself, "Who makes a better tire than Michelin?"

I started a thread on tires for my 2016 Turbo Macan a few months ago. Through the shopping process the PS4's came available, they were not initially. I could not be happier with the tire. The Michelin's replaced Conti's max summer that I got 14000 miles out of, wife's car too!

I have the same wheels and stayed with identical size front/rear. Reduced road noise, sticky and look great. Paid 1700, Michelin promo included.

Hopefully a year later you're still satisfied?

My wifes '17 Macan S is ready for new tires and I too am leaning to Michelin's. Anyone else that can weigh in on this?

Thanks!

While I don't yet have PS4s I plan on replacing the Conti's on my 21" Sport Classics with them when it is time. In particular if you're looking for a summer only tire they are the best, not cheap of course but nothing worthwhile ever is... more conversation on this over at Macan Forum as well if you're interested.

I'm in St Augustine FL so we have very little winter here. Summer tires work just fine year round. Looks like the PS4's is what I'll get.

BTW, I thought I posted this on the Macan Forum?

Good call on the PS4s. Also on my comment search Google for Macan Forum to see what comes up.

Thanks, Vise & wwahl. Wasn't aware of the 'macanforum'. Overwhelming input is for PS4's.
