Default After Market Wheels

Plan on getting a set of Winter Wheels (Tire/Wheel/TPMS) from TireRack for the MecanS.

Has anyone had any experience with the TPMS sensor that TireRack uses?

I called TireRack up and they mentioned that no special tools/software needed for MecanS to Re-Learn. Owner Manual seems to support what they state.

Anyone have any experience?

I have bought winter wheel/tire packages from the Tire Rack (with TPMS valves) for an Acura RDX and a Mercedes C300. Both times, after driving for about 1/2 a mile, the vehicle recognized the TPMS and reported the correct tire pressures. They stand by what they sell.

Really the only thing that matters with TPMS sensors is that they are transmitting on the proper frequency for the receiver to recognize them. The professionals at Tire Rack would know what this frequency is for the different cars and you'll be fine. In the TPMS menus of some Porsches (not sure about the Macan specifically), there are options for different tire combinations (winter wheel, different diameter, different loads, etc) so you might need to dig out the manual to see how to select the right setup in the menus when you switch between your winter setup and summer setup.

I have a set of wheels/tires from the Tire Rack for my GT4. TPMS works without issue. As stated above, you may need to drive for a few minutes for the car to "learn" the sensor but after that no worries.
I have a Macan S too... which package did you order?
