Car did it again last week, dealer came and picked it up and it’s been there a week. I was notified today that the car will receive a complete recode and then they would take it from there.

Car went back about 3 weeks ago, suddenly displayed “drivers assistance system unavailable, safe to drive”. Called my SA and they picked it up and dropped me an electric loaner, which we drove a week, and its PCM went black while driving it. Hmmmmmmmm. SA and tech called this a “white fault” that is from obstructing the sensor in front, and no need to despair, car is ok to drive.
Concurrently my Cayenne Turbo LCA system displayed a “LCA error, take to workshop” message and that I did. Also got a screw in passenger rear, which was maybe a month old tire, and insurance covered it, paid for install only, and instrumentation said “add 2.1qts oil to engine” and they did.

Lease the Macan electric people…….its going back anyway so it’s a minor hassle, and I got it for the fiancée to drive.

Unrelated, but related, Mother’s new Audi Q5 hybrid with 12,000 mi died on the highway………and it needs…….. a NEW ENGINE. Lease ends in fall 25…….

With my 4S, I seem to get "warnings" related to the driving aids weekly. They always go away in a couple of minutes. Some other "yellow" faults go away at the next power cycle. I did get one High Voltage System Fault, once, that went away when I cycled power.
IMO, whoever wrote the software for this car learned to write software on Windows 3.0. Just reboot

Appreciate the update. You’ve had a strong run of bad luck and I’m sorry to hear it. Car ownership, especially in this price bracket, should not be that demanding. I hope the tables turn for you soon.

I got that yellow high voltage warning on day one scared the SHIZZ outta me.

The Macan has been in so many times that the SA is starting to make concessions about things, comping things, etc. 4 cars bought from Porsche Grapevine in 2024 so they like me alright and SA is pretty damn good. Sales Mgr wants the Macan back in month 24, not sure how that’ll work. I’m either gonna get a 993 to drive or a Cayman S 987 for fun, the girl can drive the Turbo. I also eye the Turbo GT with great lust…..

One would think that a tow provider that is contracted with Porsche for Roadside Assistance service would have an appropriate tow eye for cases like this. I'm sure this wasn't the first car they picked up that didn't have access to the one the car came with.
