what tire pressures is everyone running on the macan? i’ve left mine untouched since i picked it up a few months ago and it’s sitting at around 34/36psi front/back
out of curiosity i checked the sticker on the door sill and i was surprised to see it says 48psi all around! that seems crazy high but maybe that’s the right pressure? fwiw its felt totally fine running in mid 30s

The door sticker indicates the full load recommended tire pressure for the wheel size that you have.
For partial load pressures for your wheel size, it is listed in the manual in the car.
This is typical for most German manufacturers. I prefer to use the partial load pressures listed in the manual which is what I use in my Taycan. I am awaiting for my Macan delivery next week and can reference specific numbers at that time.
Recommended tire pressures vary based on trim and wheel size

i’ll have a look at the physical manual, the one in the porsche app doesn’t seem to mention any tire pressures and just directs you to the sticker on the car. thanks!

They are in the Porsche App: Chapter Overview -> Technical Data -> Tire Pressures.

thank you! i used the search bar and it didn’t find it, but you’re right it is there. 22” summer partial load is 39 all around, so i’m a little low but nowhere near the number on the sticker

So just checked the app, which I have access to as my incoming car is currently added and for 22" wheels All season tires, partial load is 44psi front and back and full load is 48 psi front and back. Surprisingly different for , 22" summer tires and are partial load 39 psi and 44psi full load.

From your sticker indicating 48 psi for full load that would suggest that you have all season tires which would indicate that partial load should be 44 psi.
Summer tire pressures reference specifically Summer rated tires and not general ambient temperatures.
I have specified specifically Summer tires for my 22" wheels as I live in FL.
I would double check your tires to find this detail.

yea i need to double check that, i thought i got the summer tires but its possible i forgot and just got the all seasons…
The PCM and manual have widely different settings. Eg in the manual, for partial load winter 21", it says front 41, rear 44. If in the PCM you select the same setting it says 36 front and 39 rear.

Replying to my own thread - the PCM takes into account the current temp, the manual says at 20c (static). So very cool feature there, seems always best to check the PCM for the right pressure as it's real time.
mine has been 44 for all 4 tires. For last two days because of extreme cold they are 40.

The PCM shows the actual tire pressure, not the recommended one.

It shows the current pressure *and* the recommended according to the current temps.
EG snow tires 21" the manual says 41 and 44 (at 20c). The PCM shows current pressure, and what it should be set to, in the current climate. Eg today it shows me recommended 36c+39c because its 0c outside.
