Default Reliability

My wife and I are seriously considering the Macan 4 as our next vehicle. This would be our first Porsche. We currently have a Lexus RX450h. My biggest concern about the Macan 4 would be its reliability. I am not expecting Lexus-level reliability, especially for a first-gen high performance electric vehicle. I've read a little about the poor reliability for Porsche's only other EV, the Taycan, so I wanted to get your thoughts on this topic to see if any one is concerned.

Personally hoping that as the Taycan was the 1st Porsche EV there was growing pains ..but...Porsche is and has been for some years the best "premium" brand on JD power reliability for a while. Lexus is #1 overall (regardless of brand level which I think there are 3, main, luxury, and premium) in JD regardless of brand level, but Porsche has been #3 or #4 overall for a number of years out of like 35 brands.

My 2023 Taycan has been flawless. Most reliable car I've ever had so far (and I had an ES300 for over 300K miles).

That's my sentiment exactly, Duke95.
