my freeze date was 3/26 but I haven't heard back from the dealer about VIN or location. Last month they estimated September Delivery .

 

Any ship except Titanic would do

 

I sent an e-mail and got an answer! ship tracking says 7/13, delivery is still September.

 

Mine is on the Crystal Ray... going through the Panama Canal as I type.

 

Did yours stop in Jacksonville FL? Mine does, it wonder if it will be trucked over from Florida or also go through Panama to the port of San Diego.

 

Normally through the Panama Canal, with multiple unloads at ports along the West Coast.

 

My ship did not hit the east coast. If your on the west side of the US, it will be going through the Panama Canal. My ship made a detour/stop in Ecuador after passage through... headed to San Diego now. Porsche uses San Diego and Benicia for unload ports on the west coast.

 

My Macan made it through the Panama Canal yesterday. ETA to San Diego Port is 7/30/24.

I read the cars sit at the port for 8 weeks. is this due to customs or something else, like delivery prep?

Just wondering if it will come sooner than later. The last car I ordered (MB EQE AMG) was damaged at the port, I'll probably bring a paint meter when I pick up the Macan.
