Job Description:

Looking for Microsoft Office SharePoint Administrators to design and maintain SharePoint solutions. Ideal candidates should be able to analyze customer requirements and design solutions to meet customers' needs. Candidates will need to implement and adhere to Best Practices for the design, development, and governance of all components of the SharePoint solution architecture. Candidate will coordinate with multiple teams to implement development processes and procedures that are required for multiple robust and scalable SharePoint environments. Candidates will perform needs analysis, design and customize SharePoint sites to ensure customers' growing needs are continuously met by the production environments.



Job Requirements:

Degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
Minimum of 2 years full time SharePoint administration experience;
Understanding and experience in the design of taxonomies for customer organizations
Ability to perform analysis and definition of an organization’s information architecture supporting SharePoint solutions.
A working knowledge of Microsoft’s current Office SharePoint Server 2007 platform and supporting technologies including:
SQL Server 2000/2005
Internet Information Server 6.0
Active Directory
Microsoft Office desktop application integration with SharePoint
Windows Workflow Foundation
Infopath and Excel Services
Server farm/cluster design concepts
Windows networking principles
Application of Information Assurance controls for the SharePoint environment
Skilled in the design, documentation, and implementation of the appropriate SharePoint solution based on information architecture, taxonomy analysis and the customer’s functional and non-functional requirements
Ability to implement, administer, and maintain multiple Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 environments to include site creation and administration; account and group administration and permissions; creation and deployment of customized templates; error research and resolutions; building of custom workflows; creation and management of site content types; and SharePoint Search Optimization
Experienced in designing SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box functionality
Proven ability to deploy InfoPath and Excel Services solutions, as well as deploy custom web parts provided by SharePoint Developers.
Excellent communication skills, ability to work within a team environment, strong analytical skills, and an innovative thinker.


Preferences:

Relevant MCTS and MCPD certifications are a plus;
Experience with an integrated SharePoint/Microsoft Project Server environment is a plus.
Experience with Active Directory Federated Services a plus.
Familiarity with various third party solutions that integrate with SharePoint is a distinct advantage (e.g., Microsoft Project Server, Enterprise Search solutions, etc.)
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
Expertise in the design and solution development within an integrated (with MOSS 2007) of Microsoft Project Server 2007 environment.
