Wow, Jim . . . you'd drive all the way down to Georgia to race? I've been complaining too much! I get crabby when I have to drive to Sebring from the Panhandle of Florida. I thought I had it bad until I saw your posts. That's one serious addiction you have there.

Actually the race was in Utah but I did race at Sebring in February and at Road Atlanta in March so I suppose you're right about my addiction problem. Luckily I'm not alone. I see BT Mike and a bunch of other friends at almost every race I show up at.

I had the good fortune to meet Jim at RA and see him in action.

How appropriate for when the "fireworks" will begin!

Bwhahaha, good one Bob. No, actually, our fireworks don't begin until OCTOBER 4th. Unless you meant the not-so-pleasant fireworks display . . . heck, that'll likely begin during the long haul out there. Lol.

Depends on what type of "fireworks" you are talking about, Bob. But let's just say we won't be getting much sleep that night, and we'll both be grinning, I'm sure.

Lol, Bob. Somebody in the committee that may or may not exist must be really bored.

Could it be the Chairman of The Bored?

Could very well be, Bob. Folks would have to be very bored -- downright desperate perhaps -- to depend on you and I to provide entertainment. Why, you and I haven't had a good feud in a long while, have we? We gotta work on that. I mean, I am the team's Minister of Defense and all. It's for the good of the list! Lol.

I was thinking about doing another race or two but I'm not sure. It's brutally expensive. If IMSA ends up adding a race at Road America I’ll do it for sure.

The guy I crew for could join HWFMR if he went back to Porsches. Started 17 out of 17, Galati had a flat tire then got brought back in for a blend line violation and lost two laps, and James Clay went off with two laps to go and just kept going until he got stuck, so he finished 15th, one lap down. The car needs a lot of development and the team is on a pretty tight budget. Hopefully we'll have some new suspension pieces by Mid Ohio. We won't be running Lime Rock or Watkins Glen.
