Default Droving instructions for yet another globester

Well, I just returned from four VERY long laps around the neighborhood with Globie #2. My youngest daughter got her learners permit yesterday, & today when I got home from work, we went for her first drive. She did well, but it is pretty nerve wracking the first time you put them behind the wheel. At any rate, we survived, & another small life passage is behind us. This weekend, her big sister, who just turned 18 is going to the track with me for her first PCA DE. This should be interesting.

My wife and I are droving with my 16 year old son. It is a bit unnerving. I think I posted this here before but Mike if you didn't see it here it is again.

When your daughter gets in behind the wheel instead of getting in the front, slide in the back seat directly behind her. When she turns around to ask what your doing back there your reply is " I have waited 14 years for this moment. It is my turn to kick the back of your seat.

I did it to my daughter at that age and it was a real hoot. For me that is.

She's afraid of the 997, which is a very good thing. She has a 2.5L Jetta that I fitted with some decent wheels and tires (Goodrich KDW's on forged enkie's). I've seen slower cars on the track, & she will I'm sure be very talented with the point-by. After all, she is my daughter.

I hope it doesn't turn out like your first DE, back when you had the orange BMW.

Hey, I wasn't going to stay down there on the apron droving 15mph when there was all that banking to have fun on. Thanks for posting though. I hadn't seen that in a while. Why didn't you follow me like you said you would? ******.....

WOW - that is hilarious.

Those must have been the HWRMR Turtle police. You were in violation of the slowness rule.

Just a guess on my part.....but I don't think even the Globester would pull that stunt.
