Why's it gotta be black? Why not white? You racist, son?
Yes, Dan's car sounded great every time he pointed me by! Actually, truth told, the first time I was out there with him (while I was bedding in new rotors & pads on all 4 corners of the M3), he would pull me bigtime on the straights (he does have 2x the horsepower) but I'd gather him up in the corners. After that session, he'd just point me by!

Luv ya blue baby! Those were some great football days in Houston. I got to meet Earl Campbell a couple of years ago also. Pastorini is in great shape, & appears to have done very well for himself post-football. I don't know about Campbell financially, but physically he's a wreck. The poor guy can barely walk. Those years of Earl left, Earl right, & Earl down the middle have taken their toll.

Once I got the lens cap off, I got this shot. The owner was a green student. I asked the instructor how the car drove & he said it was fantastic.
This Lambo just came out & visited. Never went on the track to my knowledge. The dealership was entertaining some clients with it apparently.
Highs were in the 60's, with no rain. Basically, the weekend sucked.
Video of Martini Mike plowing the fields off turn one to follow soon I hope.

We actually flew to Houston to see a game in the Astrodome before they moved to Tennessee. For Charlie, it was a little like going to his own personal Mecca.
Who was driving this car?
