I humbly request membership in this illustrious organization
So how do I go about officially joining the team? When I read the motto about being dedicated to driving fast cars slowly, I just knew that I had found the right team. They don't come much slower than me.
Besides, I really want one of mglobe's stickers.

You have to post naughty pictures of yourself to join the team.... You also have to give us some sort of slowness background story, or an OTE story, to which we can use to create your team name. Got anything in mind????

Well it took you long enough to request membership. That's a start.

Ineptitude is highly valued around here. I know Greg. He should have no problem documenting some.

I have no clue how you join, but you knew that. Video is always good, as the members are real good at staring at video screens. If the video were to have something to do with droving, even better. If the video has something to do with droving and shows your ability to F Up even more than VR can on a race track, you are golden!
Pictures are often a good supplement. Pictures with partially naked women are even better. Pictures of naked women, without you cluttering up the scenery will at least help restock VR's files and amuse some of the members for months to come.
Sometimes reports of your droving experiences will help, but be certain to keep them short and laced with pictures and videos as described above. Also, a couple of Ben Franklins sent to each member of the Super Secret Membership Committee, if it exists, would help. Just so you don't need to guess who they might be, send the entire stack to me and I will help you out by distributing them for you.
All of that may not have a thing to do with gaining membership to this group....but, that is what I would like to see.

These seem like nice people here. I don't want to drive someone into therapy... Slowness story shouldn't be a problem. There are so many to choose from... What is OTE? (I guess not knowing that proves I'm slow mentally too.... )

MSR PCA DE, Sep 22, 2007, driving the wife's M Coupe (because I trashed the engine in my 911, but that's another ineptitude story). I'm coming around turn 10 and on some car's tail anticipating the point by as soon as we get out of the the turn (he's already given me the old 'tap the mirror' signal). I pinch my line to the inside on trackout so I can just blast right by him because I see his hand start to come out of the window. I put the hammer down and ZIP. I spin off the track into a cloud of dust, weeds, and small field mice. I saw the guy later and he said very straight faced, 'well, I gave you the point coming out of 10, but when I looked in my mirror, all I saw was a cloud of dust. So I guess you decided not to pass me.'

For what it's worth, I've noticed TR6 has posted many rather amusing contributions...

Alright, seriously TR6 (a name which reminds me of my TR3 I owned in College), spinning while contemplating the execution of a pass is a good beginning. One question, who was faster, you or the field mice?
Now, tell us about the P-car, not some running around in one of those grocery getter Bee Em Dubyas.
