20 seconds is the straight from 3 to 5 at Road America, a bit more than the entrance of the kink to Canada and a little less than the front straight at RA.

I run a Spec Miata -- five seconds is the WORLD. Lol. The 993 is another case . . . maybe two seconds.

BTW, Bob, Dave, et., al., am in Fl right now. The humidity is getting to me. LOL.

+1 and in a 912 to boot. If I catch you in Black you suck.

Don't worry about the rev limiter saving the motor for the next drover, that is what the "money shift" is for.

I rate it as follows:

Bonni, so your panties are wet all the time now?

Kurt, EXACTLY....although it depends what motor is actually in the 912.

Right now (nine-ish, CST) it is 77 degrees at 88% humidity. That's very different for me. Add to that my private summers (sorry if that's tmi) and you have a recipe that makes ya loopier than several of Mike's famous martinis. ROFL. All I can say is thank God for modern AC. Nice and dry inside. But I do like sitting out here on the (screened and sealed -- this is the South ya know) patio on the wifi. Mosquitos be damned! Lol.
