It's not really fair to call him French...He's not French. He's quebecois, which is quite different, I think.

To support your point... The Quebecois exist because the French ran away from confrontation. This is exactly the reason why the British kicked the French out of Canada in 1774. Had the French stuck around, then who knows what North America would look like today (though i am sure it looks better than what i could have). The other big difference between French and Quebecers: the French are still not wearing deodorant and guys still kiss to greet... that is just so wrong.
