If it's powered by a 914 1.7 motor, I'd say yes.

It looks like the Porsche for soccer moms and grocery getters. Wait . . . isn't that what the Cayenne is for?

I think JD should be the drover, since he doesn't drink the 'hard stuff' that most of us are so fond of.

I have the perfect guy...Sal "The Hat" (has that on his cards and note pads he gives out). He was my limo driver back when I was gainfully employed, and now still is when we go into the City, to the Airport, Yankee stadium, etc. He looks like a cross between a guy right out of "On The Waterfront", and an extra from The Sopranos. Has the hat, the double breasted suits, black top coat, etc. Perfect driver for us.

That car is way too fast to qualify as a limo besides everyone knows that MB builds the most limosine cars (I actully made that up but it sounds plausible).
I submit for your consideration - Zeyde - our 1981 MB 240D as the official HWFM Limo/Pacecar: 57hp @3250lbs of excitement.

Zayde is out doing some outlet mall shopping today with the girls but here is an early pic when he first joined our suburban fleet.

I had one of those when I lived in Germany...it could not get out of its own way but threw up a black smoke screen at the slightest sight of an incline...talk about road rage directed at me

Ooo! Is it a diesel? That would make it even slower, and therefore even more qualified. All that torque and nowhere to go.

Yes it is a Diesel and some of them were automatics....0-60 was done with an egg timer
Easy to fix though: a small sledge hammer took care of most of the repairs when needed...mine had about 320,000 km on it , first motor and first (stick shift) transmission

There can only be one qualified drover, and I'm suprised none of you thought of him. After all he is at least 5 seconds slower than anyone else in the same car
